Shabbat in Monsey: A Beautiful Experience

monsey_shab.jpgJoining Sinai Scholars was something I knew I had to do after having been raised by a Jewish family and having attended a Yeshiva for 12 years of my life. I wanted to regain my Jewish connection that was lost for a few years. However, I did not know the extent of which it would impact me. The class has made me expand my mind and think about Judaism in more ways than I had ever learned in Yeshiva. It has made me realize that Judaism is a way of living and a way to open your mind, not just a religion to pray for.

Sinai Scholars Symposium & Award Ceremony

On Sunday, April 19, 2015, undergraduate students, noted professors and distinguished Torah scholars from around the country came together for the Seventh Annual Sinai Scholars Academic Symposium, culmination of the year-long Mentor-Protege Program.

Hosted by Rabbi Levi and Nechama Haskelevich at Chabad on Campus at University of Pennsylvania, the Symposium featured much discussion and debate where students presented originally-researched papers examining the application of Torah and Jewish ethics to a postmodern world.
