Chabad on Campus Hosts Israeli Minister Naftali Bennett

Chabad on Campus International hosted Israel’s Minister of Education and Diaspora Affairs, Naftali Bennett, this Monday evening at Chabad House Bowery. An intimate crowd of several dozen students and Jewish campus leaders, gathered to discuss Mosaic United, a new initiative spearheaded by Bennett’s Ministry that brings together the leading campus Jewish organizations to strengthen Jewish Identity and support for Israel among college students around the world. Representing those organizations was Rabbi Yossy Gordon and Rabbi Avi Weinstein of Chabad on Campus International, Eric Fingerhut of Hillel International, Rabbi Avi Cassel of Olami, as well as Amy Holtz, CEO of Mosaic United.

Over 1,200 College Students Flock to Crown Heights, NYC for the Largest Ever Chabad on Campus Shabbaton

Over 1,200 university students from more than 129 college campuses across the United States and the world spent this past weekend in the Crown Heights neighborhood of New York City, at the annual Chabad on Campus JewFest Shabbaton.

The fully immersive weekend program included discussions with leading Rabbis and Rebbetzins, former soldiers in the Israeli Defense Forces, YouTube stars, and other personalities, covering a wide range of topics such as The Kabballah of Love, Mindfulness and Prayer, and a How-To guide for young Jewish professionals. Chabad at Lehigh University Celebrates Dedication

On October 30th, Rohr Chabad at Lehigh University celebrated the dedication ceremony of the Joachim Schaufeld Center for Jewish Life, and co-directors Rabbi Zalman and Yehudit Greenberg took time to reflect on their journey since their humble beginnings in 2008. They’ve come a long way from their days struggling to accommodate the overflow of students outside of the front and back entrances of their first Chabad House on Evans Street, because, on many occasions, there was no available standing room inside. Acquiring and renovating the historic, 10,000 square foot mansion, originally built in 1863, has been a much-anticipated joyful solution.
